Alternatives

In case I incur the wrath of Danny Cohen, I've laid off the BBC's Mandela coverage. Tomorrow you can watch the funeral live with (as we predicted) David Dimbleby on BBC1 (with Breakfast, Match of the Day and Andrew Marr on BBC2, hosted by Jeremy Vine, the only former SA correspondent who hasn't been back for the event). The BBC News Channel simply says "Nelson Mandela: The Funeral - 0600-1030.

BBC World Service has four hours of live coverage; Radio 5Live is going for five - I understand there'll be some sort of shared effort from WS presenter Ros Atkins, and 5Live's Rachel Burden. Radio 4 can never bear to be left out, so Broadcasting House is biffed for an hour of John Humphrys, with Allan Little in Qunu.
