Top brass

Congratulations to Tim Davie, CEO of BBC Worldwide, who today gets his full place back on the BBC Executive Board. DG Tony Hall said "Tim already regularly attends Executive Board and brings his insight and commercial knowledge to our discussions. By formalising this role we’ll ensure that we continue to benefit from his experience and global perspective.”

So, with seven "staff" members and six non-execs, Davie takes Lucy Adams' old seat. "HR" is presumably represented by new non-exec Alice Perkins, (North London Collegiate and St Anne's Oxford aka Mrs Jack Straw) who, at one stage in her career was Group HR Director for the UK civil service at the Cabinet Office. Alice's arrival, in place of Brian McBride, also maintains the previous gender balance, at a poor 8 to 4.

Still, Tim and Tone can prep for meetings on the 0744 from Henley...
