The new Who gave a boost to BBC1's primetime share of viewing last night. The MGEITF Channel of The Year was beaten by Channel 5. Next Saturday, the last 15 minutes of Dr Who overlaps with the return of The X Factor.

ITV: 12.4%
Channel 5: 5.9%
Channel 4: 4.5%
BBC Two: 4.2%
