Now I am confused. Lord Hall, DG of the BBC, has told the Financial Times (reg required) that "a task for the New Year" would be to identify someone “who I . . . turn to for great ideas, who can help me build relationships with the arts and artists on TV, radio and online, and be a best friend to channel controllers.”
Dear readers, don't we know someone who already does just that ?
